FaceTime / Skype Lessons

Picture
A FaceTime or Skype lesson is a way of teaching via webcam over an internet connection, for pupils who may find it difficult to attend a lesson at my teaching studio. I have a growing number of Guitar, Ukulele, Bass and Music Theory students weekly via the web.

For FaceTime it couldn't be easier, just open the FaceTime application from your iPad, position so you can see clearly and are fully visible and make the call!

For Skype, firstly you need a computer or tablet with an internet connection and then a microphone and web camera. New laptops and tablets generally come with a camera and microphone built in. If you are using an older laptop or desktop PC, then http://7dayshop.com is a good website to pick up the gear you need cheaply.

Then you need to download the Skype software or app which can be obtained from http://skype.com - install, and we're ready for the lesson. I offer a free trial run to check equipment and make sure we can see each other as clearly as possible!

Payment is organised through PayPal - http://paypal.com or by direct bank transfer.

Please contact me to arrange your first lesson or if you have any further questions at all!
